Around 80? people in Anderson County will lose their jobs when an Advance Auto Parts warehouse facility shuts down.
The business is located at 1485 Mountain Road in Andersonville.
According to a statement from Advance Auto Parts, the company will move its lower demand products that were housed only in the Andersonville facility to other distribution facilities around the country.
10 to 15 employees will remain at the East Tennessee facility but the move will eliminate approximately 80 jobs.?? The company says the full-time workers who lose their jobs will be offered a severance package and job placement assistance. The remaining positions will be filled based on seniority and position qualifications.
