The new device packs a large 6-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM, as well as 4GB of internal storage.
The specs list of the new smartphone also includes an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3MP front camera, a 3,200 mAh battery, and Google?s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean loaded on top.

Swipe Telecom is also planning on launching a second flavor of the smartphone, called MTV Volt V4 and featuring a 4,000 mAh battery inside.
This flavor of the device will also sport a pre-loaded exclusive TV player, so that users could enjoy access to popular MTV content while on the go.

This is the first 6-inch Android device in India, and will sport a price tag of INR 12,999 ($240 / ?180) when made available for purchase. The Swipe MTV Volt is expected to be put up for sale soon, both through brick and mortar stores and online.
